Mid-October fiber happenings

All kinds of fiber things happened today!

First, I worked on some smallish gut towers – little guys. For the Weavers Guild’s Fall Sale. You’ll see them there the weekend of November 14-16.

Second, I drove out to Brum Woods in Batesville to catch the last part of the installment of the grids and orbs that the Batesville Middle School Art Club had created last spring. We finally got the go-ahead to put them in the woods!

And third, I have pictures to show of some willow and gut grids that have found their way into the bedroom of a very nice couple who recently redecorated their home. They look grand!

OH, and I finished a two session class with the general fiber students at XU this past Tuesday. The students did some quality mudcloth work.

And the Hollander beater’s siren song is calling louder each day. I’m thinking I just might have to do some beating soon – regardless of the weather and how much I can lift. Will just have to make it work. Somehow. Soon.
